Star Wars: Outcasts
Formos itself is an unremarkable world with few inhabitants. It's an arid world, mostly rocky desert shrouded by dust. Gravity is close to standard and the atmosphere is breathable, but life does not flourish here. No one would bother with Formos if it did not sit at the junction of two busy hyperspace routes—the Pabol Sleheyron route into Hutt space and the Triellus Trade Route acessing both the spinward and trailing parts of the Outer Rim. More importantly, it's the anchor point for the famed Kessel Run, a risky and narrow route through both normal and hyperspace to get to the imperial mining planet of Kessel.
